Install App Banner

What it does

This install app banner lets your mobile visitors download your app or save your site as an app on their home screen.

It shows on phones and tablets (iPhone, iPad, Android), never on a desktop.

If you have a page to download your app, it sends them to that page.

If you have listed pages on the official App Store and Google Play store, it will send them there.

And if you don't have an official mobile app, it will show them a popup that explains how to add your site as an app on their phone home screen.

Of course you can change how the banner behaves if you want. Just change the customization options above or tell your AI how you want the banner to be used.

Works very well for shops with their own app, news sites, or any site people use daily.

It has five parts:

• your app icon
• a bold line (8 words max)
• one short line
• one small pill button (a rounded button)
• a close X

To add it to your website all you have to do is customize the options, then copy the prompt above and paste it in your AI (Claude, Copilot, Cursor, whatever you use). It builds the banner in your site's colors and fonts with the customization options you selected here.

How it works

1. 01

   The banner slides in from the top or the bottom, right away, after 10 seconds, or once the visitor has scrolled 30% of the page.

2. 02

   They see your app icon, a bold line, and one short line, so they know in a second what you offer.

3. 03

   With the real app offer, the pill sends them to your app page or to the right store, App Store on iPhone, Google Play on Android.

4. 04

   With the shortcut offer, the pill opens a small guide popup with the three taps for their device, so your site lands on their home screen.

5. 05

   The X closes the banner, so they can keep reading without the banner in their way.

6. 06

   Closed once, the banner stays away for good, until the next visit, or for 7 days, whichever you set.

What you can customize

• Where: choose to pin it to the top or the bottom of the screen. By default we put it at the top, above your header.
• Delay before it shows: you decide when it slides in, after 10 seconds, right away, or once the visitor scrolls 30% of the page. By default it waits 10 seconds.
• What it offers: choose the real app, or a home screen shortcut with a step guide for iPhone, iPad, and Android. By default it pushes the real app.
• Icon: by default we show your app icon on the left, but you can leave it out and start with the text.
• After close: you get to decide if it stays away for good, comes back on the next visit, or after 7 days. By default it stays away for good.
• Devices: you can pick phones and tablets, phones only, or tablets only, never a desktop. By default it shows on both phones and tablets.
