How to request a new design?
Posting a request takes only 1 minute:
Log in. Only logged-in visitors can post, which keeps the board clean. You can post a request with a free account.
Write a short title. One line that names the design, like Sticky pricing table or Cookie banner.
Describe it and link a real example. Say what it is in plain words, then paste the address of a site that does it well.
Send it. Your request joins the board under the form, ready to upvote it.
The best requests are specific and buildable. Include these, and leave the rest out:
- Name the component in plain words, so we know exactly what you mean.
- Link a real example of a site using it, the single most useful thing you can add.
- One design per request, so people can upvote each idea on its own.
- Leave out styling. No colors or fonts needed. Whoever copies the design sets those for their own site.
- Skip vague or off-topic asks. If it isn't a website design, the board isn't the place for it.
The clearer the request, the sooner it can ship.
How the board works
You post a request, and it joins the list under the form. Logged-in members upvote the ones they want, one upvote per account that you can take back anytime, and the most upvoted rise to the top.
We build from that list first, and new designs land every week. The day a requested design goes live it joins the library and appears on the New page, like every other new design.
