What it does
Tabs let several chunks of content share one prime spot on the page: specs here, shipping there, reviews behind the third tab. Visitors flip between them without the page moving an inch. One spot on the page, several stories inside it.
- The panel never jumps in height when tabs swap.
- Built on the real tabs pattern: arrow keys walk the row, and screen readers know exactly what's open.
- Home and End jump straight to the first and last tab for keyboard users.
- An optional setting lets each tab get its own web address, so you can link someone straight to Shipping.
- Tab targets stay comfortably big for thumbs, with a clear outline when reached by keyboard.
- Swaps animate smoothly, or snap instantly for visitors who prefer less motion.
- On narrow screens the tab row scrolls in its own little lane instead of wrapping ugly.
How it works
- 1Slide the tab count, 2 to 4.
- 2Pick the style, underlined text tabs or rounded pills.
- 3Copy the prompt, the tabs' build recipe for your AI, into whichever AI you use.
- 4Fill each tab's label and content in the marked list; an empty list means the whole section stays off the page.
- 5Flip through with your keyboard: arrow keys should walk the tabs, Home and End should jump the ends, and the content below should swap without a wobble.
- 6Check it on your phone last: the tab row should slide sideways in its own lane while the page itself never scrolls sideways.
What you can customize
- How many tabs: two for a simple either-or; four is the ceiling before people stop clicking through them.
- Tab style: underline is editorial and quiet; pills are friendlier and more button-like, filled with your accent when active.
- Colors, spacing, and type adapt to your site automatically, because your AI builds the tabs right inside your own design.
