Build an events calendar section for my website. Match my design system.

STRUCTURE
- A vertical weekly list, one row per day that has events, the venue classic.
- Each event: day + date, event name, one-line hook, and an optional link or booking button.
- The next flagship event gets a larger featured block above the list, in the brand accent color.

BEHAVIOR
- Events come from ONE data source (an array, CMS, or feed), rendered in date order; events in the past are automatically hidden, never shown as stale.
- An empty upcoming list shows a friendly "new dates soon" line, never a blank section.

QUALITY AND HONESTY
- Only real scheduled events; no placeholder hype events in production, forbid it in a code comment.
- Dates rendered in the visitor's expected format and always with the weekday, because "Friday" sells better than "the 14th".

QUESTIONS
- Before you build, find or ask for: where my real events live (the data source) and the booking or ticket links. Check my project and site first; whatever you cannot find there, ask me for. Never invent these or ship placeholders.
- If anything else about my brand or content is unclear, ask me before inventing.

The events calendar is the what's-on board for venues, bars, clubs, and anyone who runs a week: every upcoming event with its day, name, and one-line hook. And it cleans up after itself.

Past events disappear automatically; nothing stale ever shows.
Events render in date order from one single source.
Each event can carry its own link or booking button.
In the cards view, the date becomes a big corner badge you can read across the room.
A quiet week shows a friendly new dates soon line, never a blank hole; empty still looks intentional.
Every date carries its weekday, written the way your visitors expect, because Friday sells better than the 14th.
Real scheduled events only; placeholder hype events are banned in production.

How it works

1Pick the layout, a weekly list or a grid of event cards.
2Decide whether the next big one gets featured in its own block on top.
3Copy the prompt, one block your AI turns into the section, into whichever AI you use.
4Connect your one source of events, your list, calendar, or system, at the marked spot; one source means nothing ever contradicts.
5Add a past event as a test: it should vanish on its own the moment its date passes, no cleanup shift required.
6Tap one booking link as a test: it should lead straight to that night's event, ready to book.
